I loved this book. I laughed out loud, shouted “Oh no!” a couple of times, and was thoroughly engaged from beginning to end. Riley’s triumphs, disappointments, and challenges are palpable to the reader, and that is what great fiction is all about. The only disappointment is that this talented author has not written another novel! Hope one becomes available soon….Product details

If you are a musician you'll dig this book...even if you're not a chick.
If you live in or have visited Palm Beach you should buy this too even if you're not a musician or chick.
The book starts off fast grabs your attention and doesn't let you go. It's emotionally dynamic like a great song and could easily be made into a great movie.
Had a lovely time reading this book. Well written and funny. How can you NOT connect with Riley?? Hope there will be more to read about Riley soon!
Being a chick singer myself, I totally LOVED every page, every turn of events, every heartache and every triumph. I can totally relate to the ups and downs in the music trade. Jill's writing was so descriptive, emotional, made you feel like you were living Riley's life with her. I totally recommend this book to all.
I Loved this novel! I couldn't put it down and before I knew it, I'd read the entire book in one sitting! Jill Switzer is a natural storyteller. I felt as though I was personally experiencing Riley Sand's journey with her. Jill touches on every emotion that one experiences when embarking on a new career path and in a new relationship. This is a must read for anyone who appreciates a good story!
It is extremely difficult to write a real-world book that lets the reader escape, but Jill has done it. Riley is so real, so true-to-life. Every woman can relate to her. But the story and delivery are simply magical. I was transformed to Riley's world and loved every minute of it. I loved Palm Beach. I loved to feel the romance with Jackson. I loved to hate Xan. I loved to feel like I was on stage helping Riley live her dream.
I cannot wait for the next book. I want more Riley!
I loved this book and the story about how a girl feverishly tries to make her dream come true as a full time vocalist. I was rooting for Riley all the way during her struggles with her boss, the crazy ex, her mom and the love of her life. Any entertainer can relate to the ups and downs of the entertainment business displayed in this book. An excellent read!
What a great story! The characters feel so real - I could really relate to them - especially the heroine, Riley. The story moves along at a good pace and I found myself always curious to know what would happen next. I looked forward to cuddling up in bed with this book every night and now I'm a bit sad that I've finished it. This book also gives an interesting glimpse into the live music scene in Palm Beach from an insider's perspective. I've always enjoyed attending these kind of shows, but never knew what it was really like for the performers behind the scenes. I found it fascinating!
